Dear all,
Firstly, we are sorry. We have never been down this long before, and never planned for this to happen now. We are working around the clock and around the world to bring Brightkite back, better than ever. We will put the service live again today.
Secondly, thanks for all your emotion. Hearing your best wishes, your anger and your frustration has been a moving experience for all of us. We miss you all dearly, and look forward to catching up very soon. The drinks are definitely going to be on us.

A sincere THANK YOU for finally acknowledging your user base. We love our BK and understand the hiccups, but we have really felt ignored the past few days. Thanks again for finally acknowledging us. We look forward to having our Brightkite back today.

Hey!!! Please, let Martin, Brady & Lesley take back the control of Brightkite... they know how to administer this wonderful site. I have been an R&D Manager for a long time... had hundreds of projects under my supervision and control and I couldn't understand what was happening here. For over a year BK was wonderful and amazing. Now, I think the founders need to take back the control of this site... Lesley, Brady & Martin always replied to us in a timely manner about any issues that happened with Brightkite and they kept the service up & running.
We simply want the same kind of customer service from Brightkite that we had prior to the merger with Limbo. It's one of the reasons why the site has so many loyal and devoted fans.

Thank you! I'm now at work but have still been checking the blog using wifi. I am happy things are getting done and the site will be back up soon. I apologize for any harsh remark I may have said but do understand it was only because I love this service so much!
And because of this I think my family is gonna have a brightkite intervention for me when I visit them in MI for Christmas!!! LOL
I look forward to using brightkite again!!!!!!
