Get in line, post a photo on Brightkite, win a chance at an iPad!!

Yep, the new Apple iPad as it becomes available at Apple Stores nationwide this Saturday, April 3rd! As fun as loitering in front of Apple Stores can be, might as well make it worth your while.

How to enter the contest?

Post a photo of you or your friends waiting in line, or buying your iPad at any Bay-Area Apple Store. The contest starts NOW and ends Sunday night at midnight. See list of eligible stores below.

Who is gonna win?

That’s up to you and your ability to unleash some serious creativity, without being too serious (no riots with iPhones being used to beat the person in front of you). Your photo has got to make us laugh… preferably at your – or maybe at someone else’s – expense, cry until we hyperventilate, or swoon more than anyone else’s.

What do you win?

If yours is the best photo – we’ll pay for your iPad. That simple. We’ll be choosing a winner early next week. The arbitrary decision of our team of international judges is final. Bribary is discouraged by Brightkite but not completely prohibited.

So, bottom line- we’ll pick up the bill for one lucky iPad owner. Be sure to keep your receipt in case you win!

We’re really sorry, but for complicated reasons, we’re only opening this contest to San Francisco Bay Area Residents. Our team will peruse through the posts at the following Bay Area Apple Stores and pick the best photo. On Monday we’ll post the winner and more of our favorites here.
