Ah, Memorial Day. It’s a US holiday in remembrance of the men and women who fought and died to serve our country. It’s a holiday that conveniently falls on a day when summer starts and the weather heats up. Memorial day is a three day weekend full of barbecue, beer and outdoor fun and it’s a perfect weekend to do a contest.
We know your hands are covered with BBQ sauce and you’ve had 7 beers and it’s only 3PM but if you can manage to whip out your phone and upload a photo to Brightkite with the tag #memorialday, we’ll be watching and choosing winners throughout the weekend! Starting May 28th through the 31st, we’ll be watching the hashtag for you best posts and make sure you keep your posts public to qualify for the contest.
Extra points for the most exotic check-ins.
What will we be giving away? The absolute best and most awesome posts will earn a selection of Stubb’s Barbecue Sauce and many more contestants will be picked for a Brightkite Schwag bag full of stickers and a shirt.

just wanted to know the t-shirt that your giving away is it the navy/light blue one? the reason why i ask is im trying to collect them all so i gotta stay on top of things lol and Im loving the app keep up the great work guys!!
